Creating your YOW account and signing in

YOW accounts let you return to your projects and, in Cloud Mode, keep saved project data available across your signed-in devices.

Create an account with email

  1. Open the YOW homepage and select Get started free.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Create a password containing at least eight characters, an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol.
  4. Select Create Account.
  5. If Check your inbox appears, open YOW's confirmation email and follow its link.
  6. Return to YOW and sign in.

Create or sign in with Google

  1. Open the sign-up or login page.
  2. Select Continue with Google.
  3. Choose the Google account you want to connect to YOW.
  4. Complete Google's sign-in screen; YOW will return you to your workspace.

Sign in with email

  1. Select Log in on the YOW homepage.
  2. Enter your email address and password.
  3. Select Sign In.

Use the eye button in the password field to show or hide the entered password.

Sign out

  1. Open the account menu in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Sign Out.

Understanding your account

Your account identifies the projects, membership and account-saved preferences that belong to you. A new user is offered the welcome flow; a returning user opens their Library.

Email sign-up may require confirmation before the account becomes active. From the Check your inbox screen you can select Resend email, Go to login, or Try again with another address.

Use the same Google account each time you choose Google sign-in. A different Google account may open a separate YOW Library.

The web app signs out after 24 hours without activity. Sign in again to continue; this does not delete any projects. The desktop app does not use this browser inactivity timeout.

If YOW reports that the email already has an account, use Sign in or Forgot password? instead. Never send a password, confirmation link or reset link to support.
